A residential property requiring a replacement water chiller, providing 265 kilowatts of cooling, with both severe height and noise restrictions. The new installation comprised a single screw Daikin chiller, located within an acoustic enclosure, and two low noise, air cooled condensers, with inverter controlled fans operating at 340 rpm. The bespoke machine has a height of only one point six metres and a maximum noise level of 35dBA at ten metres.
